Monthly Overview:
As we approach the transition to March on March 5th, we would like to reflect on February and analyze the flow into next month, based on the Compass Chart and the overarching powers of 2026.
Reflecting on February: A World Out of Gear
Perhaps due to the clash between the Fire Power of the Bing-Wu (Fire Horse) year and the Water Power of Star #1, we have witnessed a daily influx of startling news. It felt as though the globe was spinning its wheels, losing synchronization.
In 2026, Star #6 resides in the North, suggesting that leadership and justice are hidden in the shadows. Meanwhile, Star #8 (Future prediction of the social situation) is positioned in the East for the year. Normally, the East is a place of Dawn and the morning sun.
In February, this Star #8 (Mountain) took the center of the monthly chart. We observed the world from this “Mountain” height, as if looking down from a Ferris wheel at a roller coaster. We sensed the gears shifting out of place, with the “Human Power” in the center obstructed by Universe and Earthly fires.
We are often reminded of a friend who was studying for an environmental master’s degree 30 years ago who warned that resources would vanish in three decades. Is that why we are now looking toward the seabed?
Forecasting March: Economic Shifts and the Pursuit of Harmony
In March, Star #7 enters the center. We remember the 2020 Year-Fortune Seminar—the very first study we undertook. In 2020, Star #7 was in the center for the entire year, and a stock market crash reminiscent of Black Monday was predicted and indeed occurred.
Now, in March 2026, Star #7 returns to the center for the month. While we do not expect a crash as severe as Black Monday since this is a monthly (not yearly) influence, there is certainly a level of concern regarding economic instability. Please manage your risks with care. Simultaneously, a power of “sharing” exists; we hope energy moves in that direction.
Fortunately, in March, Star #4 (Alignment/Harmony) is blessed with the Tendo-Power (Heavenly Grace). After the startling energy of February, we expect the Universe to support a return to tranquility. Political and social forecasts may finally yield results on the North-East position.

As we find ourselves in the final stage of the 180-year cycle under Star #9 (Competition), we reflect on our lives. Having finally secured freedom after the long journey of child-rearing, we wonder if these 20 years will continue with fighter jets crossing the skies. In these times, we entrust our hearts to the “Doctrine of the Mean” (Zhongyong) and live with an unshakable core.
